Pola Dwurnik’s latest paintings and collages will be shown at her solo exhibition, New Choreography of Alcina. It will once again refer to the eponymous character from Orlando Furioso, a figure that has captivated the artist for years, and whom she will reinterpret anew. This time, Alcina undergoes a transformation from the emancipated and triumphant ruler of an exotic island into a compassionate and attentive member of the animal community.
